Mission
To celebrate, teach, and share the good news of God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense among all people.
Vision
Our vision is to celebrate our faith through regular worship, to teach the Word through regular study and stewardship, and to share our ministry with the community.
We Believe
We believe, teach, and confess that there is one God, eternally existent in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. God’s Word shows us that all have sinned and have fallen from God’s grace. As a result, we cannot, by any powers of our own, re-establish a right relationship with God. God, in His love and mercy, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for the sins of all people by His sacrificial suffering and death upon the cross. We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead as victor over sin, death, and the devil, and that by God’s grace, all are saved through the faith in Jesus Christ. God’s love for us is ongoing. He “desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)
Core Values
Above all else, we acknowledge the love God has showered upon us through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. We recognize that God is at work for our good in both Word and Sacrament. By these means of His grace, God has called us into a relationship with Himself and one another. Trusting in His promises, we are called to live as His forgiven children, heirs of eternal life. He motivates us to share His love with one another as we express that faith through word and deed.
Our Congregation
Grace Lutheran Church, School, and ECC is made up of people who have come to understand that they have been called together as God’s forgiven children. We exist to introduce people to Jesus Christ, gather in worship of God who first sought after us, and to grow together in our faith, seeking God’s will for our lives.
We work together in faith and love, serving the communities in the Oak Creek area. If you’re new to Christianity, please join us and learn why Jesus is so important in your life. If you’re new to the area, please join us and know that you will be welcomed!
Our congregation is organized with a Church Council and board members working together with its pastor and teaching staff to ensure we are carrying out the mission, vision, and values of the church.
