Grades 7/8

Class Overview

The seventh and eighth grade curriculum at Grace Lutheran School is designed to prepare students for high school. Our departmentalized schedule gives the students an opportunity to see four different teachers throughout the day, allowing the students to receive a well- rounded, Christ-centered education including both academics and extracurricular activities. The curriculum includes American and world history, life sciences and laboratory activities, grammar, public speaking, creative writing, math designed to prepare the students for ninth- grade algebra and much more. Additionally, the computer class covers a wide variety of computer usage topics and gives a broad overview of many computer programs. The eight grade class finishes their school experience at Grace by creating their very own graduation video, which is presented at the graduation reception.
